Met the famous Norm, who has been the camp host here over 20 years and takes absolutely no guff. It is first come first serve but if the park is full talk politely to Norm and he might be able to find a spot for you. Right on the river. A few houses at this corner and nothing else. A National Park Service museum of the Nez Perce is about 15 minutes away, a large casino about 20 minutes away, and Lewiston is about 30 minutes away. Verizon is 鈥渆xtended鈥 so data service came and went, despite having 3-5 bars at all times.

We happened I chance to drive into this park and it芒鈧劉s really wonderful. The host, norm, was very helpful. It芒鈧劉s right by the river.

Norm is a wonderful host. Grounds are well kept, toilets and showers are immaculate. River bend location is superb.
