This was a highly anticipated stop as the park shows up on 10 best lists all the time. Maybe I expected too much but I was disappointed a bit, particularly given the $160 a night for ridge spots. First I will say the views from the ridge are phenomenal and are the primary reason to visit. I was disappointed to find most of the ridge is covered in coach houses cutting down on the expansive views. Our lot pictures did not show a coach house on the lot so I was disappointed to see our view was quite restricted from the RV. The roads are tight for a modern development specifically for large rigs. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. An attractive clubhouse and pool with a small gym but no billiards. There were no activities planned while we were there and much of the park was empty. Probably more going on during the summer. Glad we went but probably would not return.

Beautiful Clsss A park with great views. Friendly staff and friendly people. Great facilities and activities. Tight mountain roads makes getting there a challenge, but doable. Steep roads and paths make walking or riding a bike impossible except for those in great shape.

Great place to cool off anytime as elevation around 3200 feet high. All paved, ranging from open lots to enclosed areas with outdoor kitchen & tv. Easy drive from Asheville and road in mountains revamped for safe travel taking out blind turns. Lots of fun with other Class A RVers at socials sponsored by the POA, including golf cart free booze run on Thursdays. Site was clean and wifi speed fantastic for streaming unlimited Netflix. The clubhouse had weight work out room that was nice but I did not use - instead I golfed at the RV Resort and walked the trails. My wife played pickle ball with the group - plenty of laughs and good pics. I am going back for over a month this summer to see the sites, fish, canoe and check out more of the local dining.

If you enjoy being surrounded by arrogance, this place is your paradise.
8 hour trip in order to view lots for sale and purchase one as rental property, ended at front gate, turned away and laughed at by owners. Good luck with selling all this spots. Never buy.

One of top class A only RV parks in USA . Some sites have hundred mile views. Pool, 9 hole executive golf course, outstanding facilities. Tough highway into park, Hwy 64 seems to be preferred. Just take your time driving in. Many things to do within 1 hr. Several very good restaurants within 30 min more in highlands .
