Had so much hope for this little spot. Read all the reviews which were ~4.3. We were capping off a phenomenal rv adventure and had driven 7 hours it on our way home. This was our last night. We had stayed at all kinds of RV campsites along the 10 day adventure.what a disappointment. The owner was super nice. Genuinely wanting to help and make it nice. The place was a mess. Overflowing trash behind inoperable bar/grill. No river access. Weeds and rocks and uneven ground, puddles of water /mud. Note- we moved to better spot but had burnt-grass fire ring hole thingy where we walked. Cats and dogs owned by long term residences roamed and barked. The Super large gazebo ( would be cool for weddings or family reunion feasts) has garbage cans and John Deere mower parked under it). Suggestions: put up a low cost private gate entrance to separate long term renters to improve the access and experience for short term RVers. Clean up the place ( simply remove trash to start), create river access even if just to get a river view so you get more anglers and river lovers. Again HUGE potential.

Hard times at the park. It’s impossible for one person to keep it up. Beautiful location on the river.

Owner is friendly. Too busy with outsiders though since they have a store that everyone around here uses. Park itself was fine.
