Great place. You can set up camp then walk on down to the round up BBQ a drink or some grub. There's a mission not too far away. Julian is a short drive as are the wineries in Warner Springs. Fun place for sure!

There are 3 sections to this campground. One is for old campers and/or Mobil homes that are permanent fixtures, the other two are for campers & tents. Since the trees are so large & old grass can not grow, this means you are camping on pure dirt, the ground is hard to you will bend your stakes. Sites are first come first serve so just hope you don't get stuck by one of the many smelly dumpsters throughout the area. Bathrooms are old and limited to 3 stalls if I remember correct, this makes for a long wait if the campgrounds are full.

This one of the saddest places ever. They actually hold you responsible for keeping your own site if you leave it. Like I am supposed to pay and then guard it from being sold again? Unbelievable. Sites are not level and you better have some blocks or things to hold your wheels in place.
