For only $40 for an Electric Only site ~ Pet-friendly, clean, and quiet spot for a peaceful stay. Despite its slightly crowded full-hookup area, the electric-only section is spacious and relaxed. Bathrooms/Showers are clean but a five-minute walk from some electric-only sites. The park is easy to navigate, with open WiFi available, although the signal strength is mostly nonexistent. The unassigned field camping (for Electric-Only) and online booking allows for easy camping. Overall, it’s a secure, clean, and convenient place for camping, despite minor inconveniences.

Pros: clean facility, friendly and helpful staff, nice grassy field to exercise your dog. Lots of great resting within walking distance.
Cons: Big parking lot, RVs close together, very weak to non-existent wifi. We wanted to use Roku to relax and watch some Netflix , but it kept stalling and cutting out. Do not come here if you want to use your computer . Also our T-Mobile 5G had only one bar, so good luck using a hot spot. There are plenty of other RV parks in the area with better ambiance and reception .

Stayed here three nights. Nothing special to look at since the location is the fairgrounds. However, the staff is friendly and the place is very clean to include the bathrooms. Also very quiet as there was nothing going on at the fair during our stay (might want to check on this). Lots of good food in this town to include BBQ at the Texas BBQ and pastries at the Schat’s! Definitely stay here again.

Very clean. Quiet. Within walking distance of downtown, Schats Bakery, and Holy Smoke Texas BBQ as well as Smart and Final. Great showers and bathrooms. Grounds are well maintained. Good stop over place traveling up or down 395. FREE fast wifi.
