#1 Remote a good camp site to me has low traffic. 2 Fire Pit in LA, Santa Barbara, Ventura you can't have a fire at night. #3 level Camp Sites I have a 18ft trailer level is important. #4 hiking trails, off-roading ATV & 4X4.( Please stay on marked trails). I found this spot about 2 years ago but it was always the wrong time of year to go. Cell phone worked but no down load speed. There is a lot of history to explore. FYI $6 per night

Picked this spot solely because it fell at the right spot in a long multi-day trip. Unfortunately our trip coincided with a heatwave. I would come back but only in a cooler season. We were the only people in the campground. We realized that if we'd had car trouble it could have been dicey, which reminds me - the road in is seriously washboarded and the vibrations shook loose fastenings for our propane tanks.
