Agree with the 4 average. I waffled between 3 and 4 but landed on 4 because:
- close enough to I55 to be a quick overnight location, but just far enough to avoid highway noise
- yes, lots of full time folks, but the area catering to overnighters and short stays is kept nice, grass trimmed, level and not too close to neighbors
- easy in and out
- common areas clean and cool (it was 104 today)
- nice staff. I called ahead and they were great.
All that said, I would use this again as an overnight when passing through, but it鈥檚 not a 鈥渄estination鈥 sort of place - no pool, little shade, but it is a nice safe place. Would recommend if it suits your needs.

We were driving through this area and just needed an overnight stop. This was perfect, close to I55, pull thru site with full hook ups and reasonable. We did not use the facilities so cannot speak of them. Will stop back when in the area.

It was a great overnight stop in our Class A 42芒鈧劉 with a tow. She gave us a choice of several pull through spots up front. All gravel. Many permanents. Some trashy. Some neat. Great field to walk dogs in. Friendly office staff. Did not use facilities. It met our needs perfectly.

We stayed for 1 week while visiting our son in Madison and we were only here for 3 nights. The price was very reasonable, about $160 for the week. The laundry was clean and nice too. It is obvious when you walk the park that it is mostly full time people and a lot of the units here are trashy. Some with the floors hanging down, trash around the older rvs and dogs wandering free around the park. No cable, no WIFI, no tables. It is ok in a pinch for overnight but we won't return.

The person who took our reservation was helpful and polite. All sites have full hookups and it was $41 a night or $31. with Good Sam or AAA. We had a choice of 9 sites that were level, wide and clean. Many of the sites were filled with full timers and were well maintained. There were several older trailers and they were in good condition.

We stayed in this campground for a few days and found it too be perfect our needs. Yes, there are many monthly tenants; however, We only saw one or two older RVs. Grounds were well-maintained, and office staff was very friendly. Only complaint I had was with one of the monthly tenants who left his barking dog outside for way too long. We did not use any of the facilities. I would happily stay here again.

This campground is mostly full time residents run down rigs. Manager was nice. Graveled dirt roads once you get passed the office a little dusty. The available sites are large and have grass between them, no table or benches. It is full hookups 30/50 amp, wifi was not working. The price is good at $27 a night. Not much around the area to see. The permanent residence are coming and going at all hours. This could be nice but until some upgrades are made we wouldn't stay again.

Good for overnight stay; close to I-55. Mostly permanent residents; somewhat rundown but safe. There芒鈧劉s one row of pull through spots for overnight parking. Spaces are gravel; some more level than others. We arrived on a Sunday and followed instructions to self pay and pick a spot. $27 with Good Sam discount.
We travel in a 38芒鈧劉 motorhome with towed.
