This small municipal CG was extremely muddy and unusable after a few days of rain. Our assigned site (#8) was mostly standing water and mud. We found the campground host who told us to try the only other available site (#17). The ground at that site was so soft our 5th wheel sank nearly to the hubs and our truck was in mud nearly to the wheel rims, I barely got out of the mud. We ended up parking next the campground road on the picnic area. We left in the morning for another campground. The roads are narrow and the sites, with a couple exceptions, are very uneven. I’m giving 2 stars because during a drier period this place might be usable but it definitely doesn’t rate 4 or 5 stars even in the best of circumstances.

Great little park, has 27 electric sites (some are 30 amp and some are still 20 amp), potable water available, and a dump station, there are Porta potties. Sites are grassy, most are not level. There are restrooms by the ball fields. On the other side if the park, there is a playground, picnic areas, and a dog park. There is an emergency number posted on the small bldg. near entrance of campground, there is an emergency telephone nearby as well. This little campground will be seeing some changes in the future. Looking forward to next year's camping season here.

Small little campground, but on the Sep 13 2022, no working dump station. The tank was overflowing on the ground. No one works at the campground, no park host and no emergency phone number. No one called or text us ahead that there was a problem.

Nice little park! Not much has changed from prior reviews - sites are in grassy areas so aren’t completely level, porta-potties are nearest toilets. However park is well-maintained, there’s lots of room between campers, staff are pleasant and friendly, and the campground is within easy striking distance of Cuyahoga River National Park and Cleveland. At this time, online reservations are required.

A great little park. Covid has made reservations a bit odd but the park is great. Electric at the sites, water and dump available, sunny and shady spots(1-6 for deep shade). $15 a night is hard to beat. Most spots have no pad, just grass, so not very level. Still only portapotties.

We stayed over the Labor Day weekend and had a blast! They were having their annual city party to celebrate the end of summer and we had front row seats to the festivities and fireworks!
The city camp host was really nice, the site was inexpensive ($12) and the spaces are pretty large and spread out. It's near a park, there are flush toilets over there, though it's a tiny bit of a walk so they place portables near the campsites.

The good: widely spaced electric sites with a choice of open or wooded at al great price. The staff is very kind and helpful.
The bad: If it has rained recently try not to take one of the lower sites. We got stuck in the mud and had to be hauled out.
Bottom line: It's a bargain and close to Cleveland--what's not to like?

Nice campground and park. Electric hookups at every campsite and water spickets. Only porta-potties so that's a downside. Came in to camp late and ranger was accommodating for us. Good place.
