This campground is 3 miles up a dirt road from the Basin campground. The dirt road has lots of washboarding and potholes, so be prepared for a slow trip. The campground itself is in a beautiful setting with lots of nearby hiking trails. However, many of the campsites aren't very level. We tried like crazy to get site 1 to work because it is on the river, but simply couldn't get level. We ended up in site 6 which was challenging but doable. Absolutely zero phone service, and a minimum 20 minute drive towards town to get it. No services.
