It鈥檚 a former commercial camp taken over by the county about twenty years ago (per the park manager) and they haven鈥檛 done a lot to to change the feel. Water electric and full hookup sites are very close together. The electric sites near the water have a nice view but no privacy if all are occupied. Dirt and a little gravel that needs to be graded and refreshed. We were there during the week and it was pretty empty so okay, but I wouldn鈥檛 go there on a weekend. The 鈥渢ent鈥� area comes with an army style tent and air conditioning - kind of weird. Biggest reason to stay there is proximity to Williamsburg, but overall expensive for what you are getting.

We stayed three nights at Chicahominy park insight 193 in mid June. We had a very pleasant stay. Our site was one of the few that was not treed but large trees nearby provided shade in the mornings and evenings. Our site was flat and spacious. There was fishing and a nice pool and playground at the park although we didn芒鈧�鈩�t take a vantage of them.

Nice location with pool, canoe/kayak rentals, full hookups and quiet campground. Bring your bikes, right on a very extensive bike path. Easy access to Williamsburg (20 min) but still feels quiet and remote. Only negative is sites are very close together, but still recommend.

Great place for fishing. Lots of tent sites on the river. Full hook ups (where I stayed) & have no complaints. There's electric & water only sites also. The bathhouses could use some place to lay your towel & clothes. An enclosed dog run would be nice.

I thinks it is very nice location by the bridge but not really any loud. great views and pool extra. showers and restroom could be better but in this price around here it is good

Excellent location for a few nites stay with some 50a sites. Waterfront primitive sites are very nice. Canoeing, kayaking and boat launch for larger boats. Rest rooms and showers are just okay. Found this location when all other Williamsburg CGs were full. Will be a comeback place for us.
