Nice sites, away from the highway

Deep, wide sites with fair privacy in dense forest. Bumpy road access. No potable water or dump station.

We'd give this provincial park 5 stars for quiet beauty along the lake, and proximity to Watson Lake Sign Forest - EXCEPT for the 2-3 miles of gravel, washboard road you must drive in before accessing the first or second loop. Most of the first loop had sites that needed a lot of leveling - the second loop is better, especially the last 3 sites on the circle. Free firewood as in most Yukon parks, but you'll need to split it.

I stayed here for one night and really enjoyed this campground. All sites are nestled in the trees and it has a wonderful serene feel. The campsites vary on how level they are. I was able to find a nice level one...had a picnic table, a fire pit, and peace and quiet.
