We had been through Thermopolis a few years back and wanted to stop again on our way home from Montana for the afternoon and night. Thought we would give this place a try as the pics looked nice. After arriving we about turned around and left. C.amping spots are ratty with grass is dead, place is unkempt, construction is going on in the park. Will stay for the night and leave early.

This one is very divided. I loved the hot springs, my wife did not. It was very large and not crowded. The are three pools on of which is too hot to use. The other two have differing temperatures. The warmer of the two was too hot for my wife but I enjoyed a short time in it. The algae makes the bottom slippery but is it natural like the bugs that tend to be attracted to the pools. I would definitely stay again, my wife would not. Only 2 of the 5 showers were working. Looks like they have been down for awhile. PRO TIP/WARNING: get a site closer to the pools. The sites at the far end are not maintained. We picked a site in the South East corner and did not realize there was small geyser (called the washing machine) right across the fence. Not noticeable with the traffic noise at night it was entertaining until the wind shifted then it was horrible. Do not accept a site where the water outlet is over the electrical panel. (seriously do I have to write this - this should be corrected immediately but it looks like it been this way from the 60's) There was two sites I noticed like this, I did not look for more.

We loved this place. They were great in accommodating us and making us feel at home and like a local. The hot springs are beautiful. We are most definitely coming again. Again, we loved it here. Would not stay anywhere else in Thermopolis.

This could be a gem! With no recent reviews, I had optimism that maintenance and upkeep had been accomplished. Unfortunately, not much has been done. Cleanliness was perhaps the biggest disappointment芒鈧漞specially the 2 mineral pools. I would be cautious! Algae makes for very slick surface and there were a lot of bugs on surface. Campsites could be great with just a little upkeep. Bathrooms were useable, although I only saw 2 of the shower rooms (out of 4) in working order. Also still only 1 dryer out of 4 working in the laundry. Highway noise and the train in the morning (not anything they can do for that) also made the decision for 2 stars.

The mineral pool is big and warm. There are two section, one is warmer than the other. My site was level with electric and water, didn芒鈧劉t see the sewer but used their dump station as I left. Hosts are nice and were some maintenance work and cleaning the pool. The bathrooms are a little run down, but the showers work well. Bring quarters for the shower. Laundry room was ok, no hot water to the washers which was fine for me. Park is run down, looks like their working on it, but it may take a while. I芒鈧劉d stop here again to overnight and use the pool.

After reading the reviews we were hesitant about staying here. Yes the grounds certainly need so TLC but the cost $43 night and use of two huge natural hot springs pools far outweighed the bad reviews. The new owners were very friendly. They are fixing things but it takes time. To me, it was worth the price. I gave it 3 stars just because it is a bit run down. But it was clean, no loud music and dogs under control.

Waaaaay too expensive for what amounts to an overgrown field with a hot spring (think Tin Cup driving range). The kids loved the hot springs but honestly for $58 (2 adults and 3 kids) this is a rip off. Would have left, but got in after dark. Freight trains run just 10 feet from the ever park. Skip this one.

For $52 with tax for 2 adults and 2 kids we did not feel this was worth the price at all. :( the hot springs were nice and beautiful, but the whole park smells of sulfur. The laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers but at the time of our visit 1 washer was broken and 3 dryers were broken. The sites were very close together and overgrown. The sites also had lots of trees that were hard to maneuver around with our slides. Hard to get our 40ft in and out of park. Owners were nice and helpful but park needs work and for us it wasn't worth the money for a one night stop through town. (Side note about town - The dinosaur museum was also a disappointment. For quoting itself as the best museum in the US it was very small. Kids were disappointed.)
