Perfect spot for the Tetons. Very close to visitors center, grocery, showers, and laundry. Trails on the campground loops lead to the lake. Lots and lots of mosquitos - be prepared! We have Verizon cell service and had 3 bars and LTE in the campground, which we noticed wasn芒鈧劉t the same for others when we were traveling around. Pull through spots and easy to navigate.

We were pleasantly surprised by these campsites, shaded with large trees and decent pullouts for our 24 foot travel trailer. Flush toilets and sinks in bathrooms, well
Maintained. Short walk to Coulter village, with free internet and some cell service in the village, groceries and laundry. Please note: Rv park is next door, no hookups here. Short walk to Lake beach area. Easy access to Teton hikes in Upper part of the park.

Even though it芒鈧劉s a huge (350 sites) Campground in the Forest it芒鈧劉s definitely well run & organized.Very nice and friendly people checking you in. Campground Store nearby and Water & Dump Station in Campground. Surprisingly it was really quiet all day & night.

Nice staff. Sites are okay. At $90 a night you have to pay for a shower. No campfires aloud. Have to walk to beach for the view. Stay at Headwaters instead.

We arrived in Town a day early traveling from NC and could not get our reservation at another campground extended so we gave this place a try as it is first come first serve. We were pleasantly surprised and loved the campsite. Plenty of room, very wooded, and allows fires in the fire pit. There are not any hookups but we were prepared and really enjoyed some 芒鈧搑eal camping芒鈧.

This is an awesome campground!
Great space between sites, it is dry camping.
(No service for ATT), each site picnic tables and fire pit.
We have stayed in the Colter Bay full hookup previously, it is closer to the lake, but spaces are close together- fires not allowed in the full hookup site.

Beautiful, well run, very organized. This was our 1st NP so we didn芒鈧劉t quite know how it all worked but the process was seamless. Sites are pretty small and close to the road causing the drive thru to be a bit hairy (took off 1 star for that) but the area is just so beautiful. They were replacing the parking lots when we were there which caused some traffic back ups.

Don芒鈧劉t miss going down to the lake. Beautiful sunset from the lake shore. Sites were nice and bathrooms were clean. Rangers were friendly and the area was quite even thou we were in a generator loop.

Great park, Rangers poorly trained did not know rules and regulations of park and allowed camper to demand that people not use generator in part of park that allows it, resulted in conflict that could have escalated.
Signs easy to read loops A-G are no- generator sites, 2 easy to read signs.

What can I say other than Grand Teton is just a gorgeous place. Colter Bay is a wonderful park. Large treed sites. Well-cared for area. Great village area with general store with everything you could want or need. Large range of groceries and essentials. Gift shop, ice cream, coffee shop. Ranch House Restaurant had delicious food. Trout was outstanding. For a smaller meal, soup and salad bar was good (excellent chili). Only downside was no television or internet in park. A couple of hotspots (restaurants, laundry, and the Guest House for the cabins which we found and used on several occasions).
