Level sides that are grass and dirt. Pull throughs for big rigs towing. Showers and bathrooms have plenty of hot water and are clean. Easy access off of Highway 26. Not much shade. We had two bars of AT&T and three bars of Verizon cell service. The owners are on site managing the property and are very nice and helpful.

Pulled in for the night. We have stayed here once before about 4 years ago. Then it was a not much more than a field with hookups. We were the only one here and the campground looked like it had been abandoned. This visit was much different. There has been alot of improvements such as landscaping, general maintenance and just overall TLC. Our sight was fairly level and the hookups were easily accessible. Water pressure was good. Verizon signal 4g with 3 bars. We couldn't connect to the wifi so we used our hotspot from our phone and it was good. There were alot of other rv's in the campground.

Stayed a week in 40’ MH. The park is well landscaped, maintained and professionally managed. All utilities were in place and operational. WIFI was strong and consistent if you were in line with the routers. Black flies were horrible and you could not sit outside and enjoy your morning coffee. The coal trains run very close by and the horns are irritating even when you are sleeping.

We stayed at the Pony Soldier during the eclipse. The park was clean and the owners Tom and Julie were so sweet. I had read other reviews so we were prepared for the train noise, it was not a problem we had our AC running and slept great. There is a lot of historical sites near by so this is a great spot to stay. The star viewing at night was spectacular being just far enough out of town that city lights were not a problem. I highly recommend this RV park when in the area. We stayed in a 38 ft motor home with a Jeep dinghy we had plenty of room with full hookups they're reasonably priced and a good value.

Reading the other review we were prepared for the train. It was loud but tolerable as we sleep with a fan anyway. We only stayed one night as we were just passing through, but we would most definitely return as the owners were most kind and the laundry and bath house were very tidy. I give it a five for friendliness.

RV park in good location, easy in & out , Sites are grass & level, good WiFi at least for checking mail and basic web surfing. Very nice couple run the place.
Bad for quite stay, Rail road crossing about 200 yards away, Trains come by every hour until about 2am sounding their horn, 2 long 2 short and very loud it will wake you up trust me on this. That is the only reason for the low rating.
