I stayed 6-11th and 12th 2025. Nice, quiet little campground overlooking the lake with a beautiful green valley on the opposite side of the lake & a dramatic cliff rising behind the campground. Very nice camp host. Sites were well maintained. Some sites may need a little leveling, but mine was pretty level, only one layer of leveling blocks needed on one side. Some sites are completely without shade, but most seemed to have full or partial shade from nearby trees. I did not use the restrooms, so can not comment on them. The road back to the campground is narrow & winding, but is a decent paved road. You might want to get there by 3pm to secure a site, as it does tend to get full by 5 or 6. Absolutely zero cell signal with Verizon.

We stayed here for 7 nights. Great place to drycamp. David, the camp host was one the friendliest host we have met. Would drive around in his gold cart to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything. There is potable water in a number of locations around the campground. We had Verizon cell service but only with our WeBoost antenna. When we needed to get fast wifi we took a ride to Kelly. There is a small coffee and sandwich cafe where the owner "John" will let you connect to his wifi. Fiber Optics and 5g. One problem, the road to get to the campsite is a mess. Take it slow. Avoid the potholes. Should be repaved by 2020 per David the camp host. Definitely would stay here again.

Paved road getting in and really hilly. Nice view of river and camp host are real nice. Rate has gone up to $12 a night now. Water not working in camp area. We had to get water down at the boat ramp. No Verizon or AT&T signal. No TV either. As for that, it was a nice area for one night.
