Pricey. $60/night in June 2019 Felt like a captive audience because Nat’l Park was full and no nearby boondocking sites. View of monument was great, staff friendly. But the showers were horrible. Individual compartments with dressing area and shower stall opening into the outdoors on a 40 degree morning. Only heat was the shower steam, but you had to strip off and reach under the shower head to turn on the water. I passed. Nightly outdoor showing of Close Encounters of the Third Kind - was rained out the night I was there.

Three stars for location. You’re right next to the entrance to devils Tower monument. Great view from our site. The park itself is in a state of disrepair and desperately in need of an update. The bathrooms are old not well ventilated and the door fell off while we were there. Dog crap everywhere including our site. Cigar butts all over our site and the grass was about six inches long. Pool is currently unusable and in fact was being sandblasted during our stay. Maintenance here seems like a backburner issue unfortunately.

Pricey site and unlandscaped sites for rigs but acceptable.

Campground was fine. Had a fantastic view of Devils Tower. We use our own bathrooms so can’t comment on that. When we checked in, they asked about the length of RV and that we had a toad only to be put in one of the smallest, grassy sites available (there were about 20+ sites with gravel that were longer and same hookups as we paid for) so we had to go back to get the site changed. One thing they need to do is put the checkout time on the brochure you get at check in. We were guessing it was 11, but were waiting for our kids to get back from the park one last time and had unhooked and were just sitting in the site. When we were hooking up the toad, a woman came by to make sure we were leaving (it was 11:49) and I’d guess at least 50 other sites open. There weren’t many at the campground to begin with.

Location is unbelievable, get #36, 37 or 38 what’s view! Right at entrance to park. Show Close Encounters at night outside so cool!

Stayed here overnight in July 2018. Nice place. Our site was clean and level. We had a great view of Devils Tower. The staff were very professional and friendly. Only negative we had was there wasn't an adult section. There were kids everywhere, doing what kids do. They were screaming with delight at how much fun they were having! Great for them but not so much for a couple weary travelers. No one's fault, but it would have been nice to be in a quieter location. All in all, would we go back again? Yes, definitely!

Stayed here for a night en route east. Great views of the tower, quiet, staff was nice. I had a short spot since I have a class b, not very level but close to the tower, which I liked. Lots of dog feces around, including on my site. Picked it up myself, very dry that looked like it had been there a while and should have been seen and dealt with already. There was also some by the fence in a couple of spots, there weren’t any sites there but it was the best place for viewing of the tower (what I was doing when I noticed it). The next morning I almost stepped in fresher feces on my way to the bathrooms (I was right next to the shower/bathrooms). I don’t understand people who don’t pick up after their dogs. Staff either doesn’t notice the issue or doesn’t care to clean it up. Bathrooms and showers were fine, could have been cleaner. My shower (individual rooms) smelled like an ashtray. Overall fine but not great, and pricey. I would consider staying somewhere else if in the area again.

One shower room down, the other only had cold water. That was before the water & electric went out! Laundry room had old machines & the building was in need of repairs. For $27, I wouldn't stay, but for $57 we got really ripped off!

We were there in the off season. Just pulled in to check out Devils Tower. We had water and electric but restrooms were closed. Great park. Think it would be a really fun place during the peak season. Very convenient.
