It's a DOD campground that provided everything we needed at a great price. Good full hook-ups,芒聛赂 most sites were level, commissary near by, diesel fuel on base, clean laundry and bathrooms and a DD on base. What more could ya ask for? Jim & Irene super friendly and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Follow instructions in description to avoid a low clearance bridge.

First of all, use gate 5. There are low bridges that anything of a big size won芒鈧劉t get under. The spots are ok, gravel, the weird thing is, the pull thru芒鈧劉s have your neighbors door facing you. You芒鈧劉re lucky if you get a spot with shade or are turned the right way. The laundry room had 4 washers & dryers, there was a broken washer & dryer that didn芒鈧劉t seem like they were going to get fixed any time soon. There芒鈧劉s lots of area to walk dogs, but no poop bags, looks like they hadn芒鈧劉t been replaced in a long time. Didn芒鈧劉t utilize the showers. The people in the office were very friendly. Not much to do on this place, rather boring. Commissary & px close by. The town of Cheyenne is very close & a very cool little city. We would most likely stay here again.

Definitely not considered a resort. The utilities provided were very good. The roads in the park are gravel and in need of repair. Many pot holes or mud holes. They have a few pull through sites but most are back on sites that are not suited to big rigs (45芒鈧劉).

This is a MILITARY/DOD Campground and, as such, it provides about what I expect. Actually, I am thankful we have it. With that said, this is NOT an RV Resort and not many DOD campgrounds are so that should not be expected. It has some shade, which is good in the summer. They have a good number of FHU 50-amp sites and a ton of overflow Dry Camping that is used during CFD (Cheyenne Frontier Days). It definitely meets expectations and at the right price.

Very nice campground. Clean bathrooms and showers. Super nice staff. Definitely be back. We stayed in 35芒鈧劉 class A. Water was off for the season, but had electric. $10

There are many directions for this park on how to get there. As I was heading south on I-25 from Casper, the Famcamp office instructed me to take exit 10D into gate 2 which is Missile Drive. You have to weave through a Jersey wall obstacle course to get to gate 2, but I was able to do so with my 32 ft Class C towing a Jeep. Once inside the gate, just continue straight on Missile Drive through a stoplight and a stop sign. After the stop sign look for the Famcamp sign on your right. The dirt road just after the sign will take you back into the park. The office is on the far end of the park. I stayed over the July 4th weekend and found the park to be serene with Pronghorn gazing around the campground. The 2 showers in the men's side were clean and nicely tiled. While the park has mature trees, the shade is site dependent. Both the BX and commissary are a short drive from the park. Washers are $2 and dryers are $1. My Verizon was 4G with 4 bars. WiFi is available, but is not secure. I would stay here again

Take noted of the I-25 and I-80 access signs related to F E Warren. They are not always factual. One sign indicates that if your vehicle configuration is over 30芒鈧劉 you must go to gate 5. However, you will find yourself delayed behind commercial traffic being searched. As of the writing of these comments, the 芒鈧揗ain Gate芒鈧 is closed which adds to the confusion. Exiting the base can be tricky as the 芒鈧24 hour gate芒鈧劉 changes. As for the campground, the management does not assign slots until you arrive. In our case, she assigned a slot that was ten feet too short with utilities on the wrong side. Otherwise, a nice facility and you will enjoy the antelopes.

Great place with clean bathrooms. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The grass needed to be mowed shorter, it was kind of high for my taste. Some of the sites are very close while other have plenty of room. The antelope were beautiful and present most mornings. The only drawback was no playground. This is a 芒鈧揻amily camp and picnic area芒鈧 while lots of picnic tables; but no where for kids to play. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we will be back.

Park is small and quiet. Camp hosts are beautiful antelopes. Lol. Beautiful old base. Don芒鈧劉t miss the museum; limited hours so check. Sites are 30芒鈧劉 and 40芒鈧劉 but we managed a 45芒鈧劉 coach back in.Did not use any facilities so can芒鈧劉t speak to that. Lots of big trees so satellite was useless. Recommend using Gate 5, exit 12 off I25 Gate 5 is open M-F 6-6 (call to verify hrs). We left on a Sunday so had to use Gate 1; if you芒鈧劉re towing, hook up after leaving the base, or use extra caution.

This site needs some organization. I received an email of my site number when I arrived someone was in the site. After going to the office with help from a resident found the site number was changed. When I got to the that site found a squatter in my site. You would think on a military base you would not have these problems. My spouse asked the guy to leave and after 45 minutes we finally could pull in. Train noise was very annoying.
