Well we would never try to get a Class A Motorhome down the 13 to 20 miles into the park again! The road were winds, steep and narrow for our 31ft Rv. Once we arrived, all was ok then we started loosing 50 amp power. We asked for assistance but was told that all the power goes in and out?. So we tried 50 amp with one air conditioner, still problems so we tried 30 amp one air conditioner…..after many frustrating hot tries and about ten minutes we started up the generator. Thank God because temps outside were in the high 90’s. The saving grace was a little rain storm that came through so we could turn generator off and open windows with on and off air from one unit on 50 amp. PS we were told from one of the campers that 50 amp can’t carry two air conditioners! No shit…..Try to sleep was another matter since the air would go off and on during the night and you never knew if it would come on again.

Great campground, boat launch, updated showers, great playground for children, lots of hookups, flat sites. Put this area on your visit list!

The road in can be a challenge, narrow. steep winding. Nice once you drive the 13 plus miles of forest. Sites are level. Toilets clean.
