We stayed in site 21, FHU, 50amp, paved level lot, gravel patio, considered a Lake Front Site. Not a true Lake front site, there was a lot of brush and trees that blocked the view. Site was quiet, close to a play area and bath house. There was also a very nice community pavilion and extra parking.

Nice level campground. Can be noisy when your neighbors party and ignore the campground rules.

We stayed at site #12 from 10/10 to 10/19, paved site approximately 100'long, FHU, 50amp. Gravel patio area with fire ring. Nice grass area to walk the dogs and access to the lake. All sites have access to the lake area. This is our third year and enjoy this campground, have already made reservations for next year. This time of year, the leaves are absolutely beautiful. Amenities at the resort are many, the restaurants are excellent. The golf course is an Arnold Palmer design but we were not able to take advantage of it. The bath was clean and warm in the cold weather. Wi-Fi has improved, Verizon cell 4G access, Xfinity cell 4G, No air TV channels. Quiet, relaxing, clean, comfortable campground, easy access.

We stayed at Site 2 from 10/4 - 10/15. Site is 30amp, FHU. The site looks over the walkway bridge to the lodge, the #6 tee, 5th and 3rd greens. The site had a shade tree that blocked the afternoon sun. Site was a little short for our 55' 5th wheel with tow vehicle. We were still able to park at our site. Site is paved parking with gravel patio, fire ring is old and needs replaced, you can have a fire but can't be used for cooking. The ground crews begin daily chores at 0630, blowing leaves, mowing grass, fixing tee boxes and sand traps. Garbage is emptied everyday. Sites are very clean, WIFI was strong, Verizon always accessible. Hiking, Biking, Great food at the lodge. Exceptional campground, have already booked for next year.

We stayed in Site 9 in our 35' fifth wheel pulled by F-350. Site was a little tight to park both RV and truck. Patio was a about a 35' square graveled area with fire ring and sturdy picnic table. Parking pad was level and paved but short for our combination. We had a view of the lake but had to look through the fence of the sewer treatment facility. We also had to clean out the fire ring, looked like it had not been cleaned all season. Wifi was good but we were right across the street from the shower house where an antenna was located. Shower house was clean. There are plenty of activities to do here. Golf course, Lake activities, hiking trails rated easy to hard, play ground, basketball, tennis courts, plenty of places to bicycle. Even though we had a terrible view, we have already booked a stay for 2021 on a different site. Resort in the fall is beautiful and always booked. Need to get reservations in early. Sites we would not stay at are 8 - handicap, 9 - terrible view, 10 - under a oak tree, acorns fall in the fall, 30, 31 are located close to a cliff.

Briar Point CG at Stonewall Jackson State Park 940 Resort Drive, Weston, WV 304-269-7400 40 FHU, all back in. Paved roads, gravel sites, shower, grills. $61 for 1 night. Beautiful CG on the lake with many on the waterfront. Cable is listed as an amenity but we never found it. Pet friendly with beautiful walking trails. There is also a Resort lodge here and a golf course. We would stay here again.

Great, clean, well spaced out camp sites. Full hookups are a great thing. Love the views of the lake from almost all the sites.

Lots to do at this campground/resort. A little extra $$ gets you access to indoor-outdoor pool. Took a nice boat ride on lake. Camp sites were spacious and overlook lake. May be hot mid summer since what trees are there are still small--personal preference is more wooded. However, definitely worth a visit.

Best campground around! Great facilities and plenty to keep yourself busy. The only downside is the fee is a little pricey and doesn't include the pool, bikes, etc... That's an extra $15/day for four people.
