Quiet, shady. Pool not available. Not satellite friendly. Reasonable price.
We will be here for a couple of months pending surgery.

I would give more stars if possible. Sand Springs was very accommodating and incredibly helpful. Would love to spend more time there in the summer months to be able to enjoy all the activities. Real and really good people run this place. Thank you very much!

It is too bad there is not 芒鈧搉o stars芒鈧 rating. When we called to make a reservation we asked for a full hookup site, sat friendly if possible.
When we arrived we were told that the full hookup sites were not level so should take a power and water site. Level is good so we took it. We were also told that there was no WiFi and no sat friendly sites but some OTA stations were available.
We backed into our site and our front wheels were at least six inches higher than our rear wheels. I did not have enough blocks to get level so I scotched the wheels with rocks...to keep us from falling backwards into a deep ravine.
There are about 15 OTA channels for the TV. When I attempted to move the picnic table closer to the coach the top boards came off in my hands.
Last, but not least, the restrooms were filthy. No recent cleaning efforts were evident. Gross my wife said. I agreed.

Made it out camping on an unusually warm February weekend and this one of few campgrounds in the area open this time of year with full hookups. Setting is wooded and sites had nice space. Walked around and thought once trees bloomed would be beautiful. Employees on site were helpful and nice. Would like to return sometime when weather is warmer to have more time to visit local park and use facilities.

This is a nice campground in the woods. Very quiet and serene. Wifi worked great and we received an abundance of TV programs via antenna. We were in lot 11a and camped in a fifth wheel.
Note: Do not use GPS coordinates for this campground. You will be lost. Call the office and the friendly staff will give you simple directions.

FIRST: DO NOT use GPS.... ONLY use exit 15 off I-68- as GPS leads you up logging and 4WD road.
I gave this campground a 4star rating because it deserves more than a "3" rating; and because of its friendly hosts, overall clean campground, QUIET premises and generous heavily shade/treed sites.
The pool was not usable during my visit due to liner replacement pending...which would have been nice to know at the time if my reservations last week- although I was advised of the large number of motorcycle rally registrants- this because of potential noise factor from many motorcycles which ended up being a NONissue- no problems/concerns/issues noted during the entire weekend. The wifi is very slow and only accessible within a few feet of the main building- for me this wasn't a problem.
I've stayed here 3x in the past 5 years and will continue to patronize this independent business.
