Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Rifrafters Campground. Road to: Overall good, the campground is a short distance from hwy 19. Road inside: Mostly gravel but they do have a few potholes. There are some steep erosion issues along the edge and the road is very rough as you drive past the office. Trees: All well trimmed. Check in: Small size office about 100 yards in. Parking: Small size parking area in front of office. Seasonal campers: None. Signage: good Site 22: Cement pad, and level. Had table on wooden deck and fire pit. Site is dry but the back side is very steep angle and hard to walk. Nice view of the forest. Site is nicely spaced. View: view of the forest. Site spacing: Good spacing. Bathhouse: Did not see. Laundry room: Did not see. Swimming pool: None. Club house: No. Fitness area: No. Restaurant: No. Grounds: OK, but could use some nicer landscaping. Could use improvements on the rain drainage. Air TV: None. Wifi: Good. So here is the bad: 1) Bathhouse could use a better look on the outside. Only cement bricks with no paint or anything. 2) Road inside campground needs some improvements. Sites 22 and 21 are the best. I would come back.

The people here are friendly and knowledgeable. Our site was level with gorgeous scenery. We especially appreciate that they accommodated a change in dates and helped us back into our site. This campground is only a few miles from the New River Gorge National Park and local shopping.

People were super nice and helpful while we were there, tight turns but they helped us get in our site. Convenient to national park. Minus one star: They charged us $10 for arriving at 1:30 when check in is at 2pm. I asked if our site was empty and ready and she said yes, but it芒鈧�鈩�s policy. We were blocking the drive and I didn芒鈧�鈩�t want to leave and come back so I paid it. Ridiculous. Minus another star: we had a power issue, thought it was our bus, talked to someone who worked there who mentioned that previous person at same site also had an issue. We decided to wait til we got to next camp-spot before replacing parts芒鈧�娄 when we got to the next campground we had no issues, we called to let them know they needed to check the pole in site 3 and have NO confidence that they even cared.

We stayed in site 22, the views were beautiful. We have a 43 ft fifth wheel, and just BARELY fit in the spot. The turns were tight and without the owners help we would have spent quite a bit of time trying to get backed in without hitting anything. I wouldn芒鈧�鈩�t come after dark, and that was really the only spot I feel like we could have fit in.

We stayed one night on our way back from a long trip. They were incredibly hospitable. Our site was lovely and we loved the fall trees. Great experience and near gas for a quick fill up. I芒鈧�鈩�d love to return again to see the gorges.

We stopped here for one night after picking up our new 5th wheel in Michigan on our way back to North Carolina. We had a hard time finding a campground that could accommodate us last minute, but these guys said come by even at 9:30PM. The owners were great people and helped direct us with flash lights through the camp ground and into our back in site with our new 42芒鈧�鈩� fifth wheel that I had never backed in in daylight never mind in the dark. Can芒鈧�鈩�t thank them enough for their hospitality! The campground was clean and well kept. Close to a river for kayaking and tubing. We would return again.

Advertised as having internet which is not working and TV which does not work because its digital and my 2018 RV is not. Our reserved pull on site which we paid for in advance was not available so we got a back in for the same price $43.00 with no pool. $$$$$. Would not recommend.

Nice, clean campground close to the New River Gorge bridge. Level, roomy campsites. Staff was outstanding providing information about area roads and helping disconnect and move dolly to site. We really appreciated their 芒鈧�艙above and beyond芒鈧�聺 help. No fancy amenities, but even our 12 year old granddaughter liked it. Would stay again.

My wife and I stayed for two nights on our way south. Cannot recommend it enough. Owner is a great guy, makes you feel at home and you can tell he really cares about the place. Bathrooms are modern and spotless, wifi is strong and they have a ton of digital cable channels. Grounds are clean and well maintained Close to New River Gorge and white rafting.
