Little Beaver would be nice, except for the barking dogs.

Nice campground but site 28 is small uneven and muddy in the rain. The laundry has 1 washer and 1 dryer that work yeah. It is very hilly but sites 1-18 are flat and wonderfully shaded. There is a lake with paddle boats and lots of trails.

Great park, nice thick woods to camp in. Don’t be fooled by the pictures, the camp sites are NOT on the lake. We stayed in the non electric loop which was empty. It was very nice to have a water spigot at every site on this loop! However, the bathrooms are located on the other (RV) loop. Just a short walk away but we found it funny the bathrooms were located on the loop where they were not needed. The bath and shower house was clean and tidy. Sadly the wood sold there was green and did not burn well…perhaps it will cure later in summer. Lots and lots of hiking trails!

Beautiful state park. Somewhat level pull through site #2. Spotless bathrooms and laundry. Great hiking trails and near New River Gorge NP.

Very nice state park in a beautiful area. Pretty dam and waterfall with a little lake and small boat rentals near entrance, a little removed from the campground. The entrance to the campground has a nice dump station and playground and lots of grassy areas for running children or pets. Forest around and in the park is gorgeous. Our site was level, easy, private, and very pretty/idyllic. We enjoyed eating outside despite warm, humid weather; it was just too beautiful not to. Lots of areas to walk. We didn’t use the facilities due to COVID but they looked clean. Would highly recommend.

Really nice Relaxing campground. Road is a little narrow but had no problem with 45ft 5th wheel. Have 50 and 30 amp sites. Only negative is no sewer. Will definitely be back. Really nice bath house and laundry room.

Winding road to get to park. Follow signs not GPS. Beautiful well kept campground. Roomy sites, reservations recommended. 30 amp elec and good water. Spotless bathrooms and showers. Terrific helpful staff. Close to New River Gorge and rafting, hiking, biking. Plenty of winding roads to see breathtaking scenery. WV forever wild. Deer all around, very quiet, big meadows and heavily forested. Great balanc of nature. Highly recommendstayed 4 nights , would have liked 2 weeks. Will return some day

Very winding narrow paved road uphill from park entrance to campground.Access roads ( two lane ) from I77 and I64 to Park has overhanging tree branches that drag along the top and sides of big rigs. Campground sites are gravel and/or dirt equipped with only water and electric. Many have only water. Sites are spaced well for most part.very few pull through sites and they are extremely curved. Nice and clean Bathouse and Bathrooms. There are no pet cleanup stations. No trash pickup at sites. Reservations are iffy. We did not get what we reserved nor did others I talked too. Wi-Fi is pathetic. No cable on sites. Unable to connect to wireless network our entire stay of seven nights. Much to be improved.
