I agree with the other reviews; however, realize that the $7 fee for the dump station is due whether you camp there or not. So if you camp there you still have to pay the fee if you use the dump station. Most places only charge non campers.

Great city park electric only water and dump on site. Now the park manager Paul. You could not ask for a more helpful guy we were having difficulty finding a place for the weekend coming up he went above and beyond helping us finding a place to camp. Not only is he a helpful guy but I think I made a new friend. This guy needs a pay raise. Hope you get to meet him if you stay a this park. And you should

Surprisingly found a non reserved spot during 4th of July weekend. Site 24. Nice shade, level, 30amp. Dump fee is $7. Good cell service. A little road noise since the CG is right in the city. Still slept fine through the night. Bath house, dumpster super close. Enjoyed this CG. We have a 28’ motorhome.

Great little campground in the middle of Wausau. Electric only sites with a dump station and water there. They get well spaced but there was hardly anyone there when we were there (and it was a weekend!) Very wooded and shaded but not a huge big problem. Also, a great river/lake to kayak in nearby!

For a park in a large urban area, it is not bad. Inexplicably, though the park is pretty flat, few of the sites are level. The large, mature pine are beatiful, mut I have stayed here during high winds, and it sounds like you are getting bombed all night. Though pine cone have a lotof kinetic energy when the fall from 70’. The trees can also make parking a big rig here challenging. It is the only park close to Wausau,

Lovely park in town. Near UW campus. Electric only sites. Fresh water fill up near dump station. $6 to dump. 60' tree shaded sites. Lots of area for dog walking, trails to hike. Loved it.

Second time here. Very nice park when not many people here otherwise units can be close together but we have been lucky with almost no one else here. 30 or 50 amp services and no water or sewer hookups. $20 a nite and great for overnite. Beware on high wind days as park is filled with beautiful mature White Pines and last time we were here was shortly after a wind storm and dozens of the trees had fallen. Not a fun thing to have fall on your RV.
