Ahhhh… We have been seriously RVing for 25 years and have NEVER arrived before check in time and been told to go away and come back at the checkin time of 2PM. We understand that they multitask and have things to do, BUT, there was plenty space not near the campsites where we could have parked. The drive in there is mountainous and my husband who has turned 80 was exhausted. No, go away and come back at check in. The park was okay, nothing special. There is no excuse for bad customer service.

Highly recommend Riverbend. I have stayed at many RV parks over the past 10 years and am currently at Riverbend all summer for my seasonal job in Winthrop. Riverbend is well run, great location, good price, and clean. There are other options in the Methow Valley, but Riverbend is the best overall value. It is right on the river and is available for both short and long term stays. You cannot go wrong with a stay at Riverbend.

Have stayed here in the past but since then the park appears to be in decay. So called grassy areas are that. Mosquitoes in June, during our stay, will suck liters of blood from anything alive. The Methow river is very scenic and obviously the draw of customers to this location as it was for us. Upon arriving at noon we were told that check in is at 2:00 pm and not before. Hence, we had to depart and come back at the appropriate time even though there was empty spaces. This reinforced our decision to never return.

This was a nice park right along side the Methow River. Access through the park is paved but the sites are all gravel. They have good water pressure and 50amp power at many sites. The sites are a little close together but there are paths to the river so you can take your chair and watch the water going by. Deer have been seen walking through the park and across the river. The people running the park are very nice and make sure that everyone has a good stay. Now the negative. We were there in Mid June and the mosquitos were very hungry and were a real problem. There are many trees for shade but some make satellite reception questionable. Twisp and Winthrop are close by and groceries, Hardware and Restaurants accessible.

Stayed here for Memorial Day weekend with all 4 kids. It was great. The kids loved the park, proximity to onsite dog park. Almost everyone had a dog! Great spaced out sites. We were in #20 and love it!

Came for a few nights in July. Owners were super friendly and helpful at check in but we were left to enjoy our space for the rest of the stay. The sound of the river is nice and there is some shade at most but not all sites. In the summer it gets pretty hot. Sites have full hookups and cell was ok, with Verizon. We enjoyed the towns of Twisp and Winthrop. Lots of great hiking and water adventures with the river that runs by. This is a standard RV Park with lots of pull through a and grassy sites. Did not use bathrooms or laundry so can’t report on those. I would come again.

Very nice spot viewing river & mountains right out windshield of our coach. Friendly staff. Close to shopping & attractions in Winthrop. Road noise is from small highway..nothing like being close to an interstate. We would definitely stay again.

This is a decent campground with flat / level sports and full hook ups available. Not unfriendly but not really happy to see us either. June 22 2020 and camp store has less items than my cupboard so be prepared when you camp here, although there are stores in town. Power , water , sewer good However if you watch Satellite TV you probably will have issues as owners have planted many trees and the are now big enough to block your satellite reception in most cases Lots of kids riding bikes and playing when we were here so 5MPH speed limit is enforced

Great spot for a few days or overnight stays right along the river, sites were easy access paved road with gravel sites and grass around them. There was road noise but it isn’t that bad. We would stay here again

A great little surprise. Most sites are full hookup and pull through. Our space was at the riverside and didn’t have sewer but there’s a dump station on site. Staff is friendly and attentive. The river is beautiful. Showers are paid- 1 quarter for 2 1/2 minutes. 2 bath and laundry sites. Convenience store for snacks, drinks, ice, and basics. Tent spots right at the riverside. We had a great time.
