Not sure what previous reviewers problem was; Campground is open. Nice grass rv sites with huge trees for shade. Owner is very pleasant. Everything was functional. Trains roll by across valley. We heard them when we went to bed and when we woke up but far enough away we didn鈥檛 hear them overnight. Not really a destination, but a nice overnight spot on our way through

AVOID! Padlocked gate. Permanently closed. Drove many miles to this cg based on reviews. Area leading up to gate very junky. Reviews have to be fictious.

We arrived in early April 2020 during the covid time. First the view from lakefront view is breathtaking at sunset. The train that passes by across the lake wasn芒鈧劉t that annoying to us. Frankly we didn芒鈧劉t mind it all. My 3.5yr old loved to see the trains when they did come. It芒鈧劉s a great place to stop if you don芒鈧劉t want to do the city thing in Spokane on your way to Couer D芒鈧劉Alene Idaho. On the positives the wireless was awesome but we were the only people that were there so no idea how much it slows down with other people there. On the negative note prepare to be UPcharged on everything. The woman who runs the place is nice but charged 2 more dollars because we have a 3 yr old. Then another charge for internet, then another charge for sewer. So just be prepared. That芒鈧劉s being said if you takes pics at sunset people will ask you 芒鈧渨here is that?!芒鈧劉 You don芒鈧劉t need to tell them you were right by the highway in the middle of nowhere. Would give 4 stars despite the train if the upcharging thing wasn芒鈧劉t such a ridiculous thing given we were the only people there. We were at least glad to support the nonexistent local economy.

The little gnats are horrible. They don芒鈧劉t bite but they swarmed us every time we opened our door. The owner wasn芒鈧劉t very friendly. It is a beautiful lake. It芒鈧劉s also quiet as long as you don芒鈧劉t mind trains(I don芒鈧劉t mind) I芒鈧劉m pretty sure I wouldn芒鈧劉t want to stay here very long. We have a 35芒鈧劉 5th wheel and had no problem getting into or out of the park.

Lakeside camping on Sprague Lake. Lots of fishing, pelicans and birds. Nice dock. Grassy sites with trees for shade. Full hookups. Really nice lady runs the place. And very pet friendly. Other reviews mention mosquitoes, but no芒鈧漥ust lots of fish flies and they don芒鈧劉t bite. Great oasis outside Spokane 冒鸥鈥樎

We stumbled upon this sweet little RV park and found a gem! The owner is so sweet; we called ahead and were coming in late; she stayed up, met us and helped us pull in. The site is right on the small lake. I woke up and had my coffee while watching so many cool water birds. Other reviewers have mentioned bugs; there are lots of mosquito-like bugs but they AREN芒鈧劉T mosquitos and don芒鈧劉t bite. Wish we could stay another night and enjoy the lake. (In our RV the occasional train didn芒鈧劉t bother us a bit)

The mosquitos were bad, the washrooms reeked, the showers were dirty. You had to pay for wifi and to use the shower.

The nearby trains ran all night, and let me tell you - they are VERY loud. Don't think you'll wake up well-rested here.

This place has a beautiful, natural lake view, lots of birds and a friendly owner. The resort appears to have been very lovely at one time but has fallen into disrepair. Campers are "nickeled and dimed" to death. We paid for electrical/ septic /water and by the time we had all the add-ons included once we arrived, we were paying $25 more to over $55. Add-ons included an extra cost for the use of the showers, (dirty, but work well), an extra cost for Wi-Fi (worked well), an extra charge for credit card fees and an extra charge if you want to fish from shore. There is not much else available on this stretch of the road so one night is doable. Trains go by day and night at half hour intervals blowing their whistles at night.

Small RV resort and campground on Sprague Lake in Eastern Washington. Sites are on lawns, some with shade, all 30 amp. It's a nice, quiet (except for trains across lake) park and good 1/2 way point on our way to Olympia WA. Called ahead for reservations and they do charge one night if you cancel. A little pricey, $48 (includes tax and cc fee, 5% discount for cash). We are a 36' fifth wheel, plenty of room.
