AFB Fairchild it’s hard to find the out door rec after 10 days here still don’t know where it’s at You can’t reach them on a WENSDAY cause there closed. The camp host went on vacation so there was nobody to assist you or help with securing a site it was first come first serve which was great cause nobody would answer the phone when you called no body to maintain the RV sites grass overgrown. Not very pleasant to stay here. Although the rest of the installation was well maintained . It would be a great place if the installation took more pride in its RV park .

Stayed 2 nights. 35.00. First come, first serve. Two rows have no shade, two rows have decent shade. Spots are close together. Pro: easy to get in and out of the fam camp. Close to running trails. Cons: coin-only laundry (time for an upgrade).

Nice Famcamp with big pull throughs, closed to the commissary and exchange. The camp host Emily and her co-host are always seeing working around the facility mowing the lawn and cleaning. Looks like her heart is in the right place, would be nice for the base commander to drop some money for some upgrades. But overall great camp!

Looks like a nice famcamp. Full hook ups nice grassy spaces over very worn gravel. Some shade trees and all of them pull through. Major problems getting on base. The main gate is for cars only Class A and Fifth wheels must go through Rambo gate. Now going out all vehicles must exit via Rambo gate, but cars cannot enter. Construction at main gate.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. We’ve used it as a stop over spot both times. But plan to come back to explore the area. The park could use some love but the bones are good.
Pro: Spots are level, price $25 (cash only), safe, laundry room super clean and $1 includes both wash and dry. Fits big rigs.
Con: spots close together, spots are dirt/ sand.

We stayed a week over Memorial weekend in our 40' motorhome towing our CRV. First come, first serve was fine as we called a few days prior to verify space available. The price is great and being on a base is very comforting. The park itself needs some love. Obviously the high-ups don't see the value in having a nice FamCamp. The grass has turned to weeds, the trees need to be trimmed and lots of water leaks. The spaces are very close together, although plenty long for our big rig and tow vehicle. When choosing your site, pay attention to the wind direction. It can make all the difference when sitting outside. Also, the trees are beautiful, but in the spring time, they drop loads of sap on your rig and vehicle. The camp hosts are very nice and made check in a breeze. They gave great directions since the road appeared to be closed based on signage, but was open to the RV park. We came in the main gate without any trouble but it was a tight fit for our class A. It's not much of an RV park, but did the job while we were visiting Spokane. I wish the military would see the value in the FamCamps and make them a little more family friendly. We camped at Fairchild AFB FamCamp in a Motorhome.

Spent 3 weeks here. While the spaces are close together, be here in Oct and only a few people, so we were not close. The hosts were great. The base is neat, make sure you hit up the Dining Facility (Chow Hall). Retirees can use it. Great weekend breakfast.
Take a walk around Medical Lake. Short 3 mile walk.
Keep up the good work.

Nice quite little fam-camp. Laundry machines are a bargain at 50 cents a load. Our gravel pull through site was fairly level. Plenty of area to walk the dog, but no dog run.
