Now $15 per night non reservable. Again note 18 ft max for most camp sites. One spot at upper area for larger. Gate is locked at dusk so you are locked in until opening at 7AM. Beautiful trees oasis in the Palouse.

Hiking trails require moderate ability, but views of the Palouse from the top of the Butte are breathtaking and worth the effort. Wild flowers in the spring carpet the landscape. Camped there once and the birds greet the morning with unbridled enthusiasm. I live nearby and go there often.
