We stayed here last minute (no reservations) due to not being able to get into Canada. Maple Creek surpassed our expectations! Beautiful grounds, easy to pull in (we were at site #8), private, wonderful trails and a fun lake to kayak. They offer boat rentals as well. Close to town where you’ll find wifi, a cute coffee shop and a few small grocery stores. Mt Baker was about a 30 minute drive away (another 40 minutes up the mountain and your on a beautiful trailhead leading to a large waterfall). Highly recommend!

Maple Creek Campground underwent a major renovation in late 2018 and reopened in summer 2019. It has 47 sites that can accommodate mid size to large RVs. All sites are paved and large now. All sites have water and power. There is one dump station at the entrance to the park. There are plans to have some sites remain open all year round. There is not any cellular service or OTA TV or Satellite TV Reception. This is a place to disconnect. All sites have fire rings and picnic tables. Book online way in advance as this park is very popular and it is hard to get a site. Red Mountain is still the same and all though it has not gone through a major renovation like Maple Creek. It s still a nice rustic campground with water and electric at all sites. Cedar campground is tent only.
