We stayed here 2 nights because it was close to the park and the town. Location is great, as I said it is very close to the port of ilwaco and Cape Disapointment. We got in late and were unable to determine the availability of camping in the park so decided to just stay here. You can walk to town and walk or bike to the discovery trail which takes you into the park or up the Long Beach peninsula. Most of the part is permanent residents and perhaps it is the nature of a fishing village but we were never very comfortable here. Everything just was grungy. On a good note, the camp host was very nice and helpful and the internet worked fairly well.
