I just stayed for two nights 6-18th and 19th, 2025. It was a pleasant stay. Quiet & not very busy. The sites were decent sized & level. Some of the sites are spread out and others are close together, which would be great if you were camping with others. Not a lot of privacy. Site #15 was just a pull out from the main road, but it had quite a long walk to the picnic table and fire ring. The plus side to that is they were right on the lake and had lots of vegetation to make it a private little oasis. The road in to the campground is only wide enough for a single lane, but there are spots to pull over and let someone pass. Fortunately, it is not a long road in, it’s not busy and the campground road itself has a little more width. There were bald eagles around. Cell coverage was fairly decent with Verizon. Campground was pretty clean considering judging by the tickets left on the posts workers don’t come around often.

Dry camping. Pit toilets. Large camp sites. No burning in effect. Obviously a fire went through campgrounds within last couple of years. Have rebuilt campground and it was very quiet and clean. Road in is dicey for short distance but worth the trip.

Contrary to other reviews, as of June 2019 there is NO WATER (potable freshwater) available at this campground.

The road in is too narrow for big rigs and the trees cause trouble too. No one is controlling things either with rowdy people coming all the time.
