Nice little campground. Dump station on-site. River views nice but the river itself was, frankly, a bit stinky and unappealing to swim or float in. But our stay was very pleasant otherwise

Most sites have an excellent view of the river. Quiet, peaceful stay during midweek. Our particular site (#28) was too sharp of an angle to back into, even with a 19ft. trailer. The gate attendant helped by blocking traffic flow so we could approach from opposite direction. All of the pull-thru sites had nice views, plenty of spacing between sites. Area was well patrolled by Sheriff and Rangers. Gates are closed at night except for emergencies. Excellent beach/swimming area and nice boat basin for fishermen to tie up. Senior pricing and a mid-week stay makes this one a keeper in our book.
