We were tent camping and had very bad thunder storms. After dark the owner, Mark, came back to check on us and insisted we sleep in the camp office. Great owner, never been treated this nice in a campground before. Will stay here again is ever in the area. Very clean and well maintaoned campground, would recommend staying here to anyone in the area.

Barrewood is a very nice and quiet campground with exceptionally clean and attractive rest rooms and shower facilities. The owners are just plain wonderful folks who bend over backwards for their campers. Our travel companions discovered they had a bad tire, and when Mark couldn't get a nearby garage man on the phone, he insisted on driving several miles to the man's place of business to tell him a camper needed assistance. This seemed to be typical of his way of doing business. We would go out of our way to stay here again.
