Beautiful campground! The owners were incredibly nice even on a super busy weekend for them. They called us when they had a cancellation and were very accommodating with our late arrival. The campground is mostly wooded with an open area ideal for families with young children. Quiet hours were very quiet. Everyone was friendly and respectful. Many places to walk our dog and a fenced area for dogs to play off leash. The Arlington area has a lot to do including some wonderful hiking trails. Too cold for kayaking or swimming unfortunately but the swimming area looked fun. Overall, the weekend was lovely and peaceful and relaxing and we will be back!

Very nice, small and quiet campground with close proximity to Manchester and Dorset.

Just finished a long weekend at Camping on the Battenkill. We reserved two campsites 17b and 18b for our trailer and Class C motorhome. My husband used the showers one night and felt he needed to keep his flip flops on while showering. The group I was with really enjoyed the campground and we discussed returning next summer. The Battenkill River is beautiful, a short walk from camp, and really added to the experience. I highly recommend investing in water shoes since the rocks can be quite rough on the feet. The field provided wonderful views of the night sky and meteor shower one of the nights we stayed. Can’t wait to go back.

If you like staying in the woods with dirt roads and dirt sites, this is a good place. The river is crystal clear with fly fisherman here and there. Full hookups including ten cable television stations are available. The All Stays map is not correct. The Google directions take you on a gravel, dead end road. The campground is directly off of Hwy 7A and not off Tory Lane! Stay on Hwy 7A. It appears to be a very popular place for campers. Lots of shade at the full hookup sites. Shower houses weren't for me. Verizon 3 dot LTE. I'd stay again but just for the night. If you like 'camping', this is a nice place. Campfires all over the place. Smells good.
