We have decided to stay at this place after reading the only one review available that gave 5 stars. In our point of view, this campground is far away from a 5 stars rating. If you are searching for a basic, rustic and far away campground, it maybe ok. Because far in the country, no noise from higways and we have appreciated the kindness on Tim. On the other hand, many sites are not well leveled, the laundry was not clean and provide only one old washing machine and only one old dryer. Our hook-up was only 15 amps connections.

We spent a wonderful week at this fantastic campground. There is nothing fancy here-- no pool, no planned activities-- just a nice, quiet place to stay with everything you need to make yourself at home. We were worried that our air conditioner wouldn't work on the 20 amp circuit here. No worries. As promised I was a good 15-20 degrees cooler here than it was in the nearby town of Floyd, where we spent two days dining, shopping and enjoying some great music and dancing. At one point we were having problems with our rv battery and converter. The owner noticed me working on it and offered his help, as well as a battery charger to get us going again. When it turned out that we needed to order a new converter, they graciously agreed to have one shipped there and even watched for our package to arrive while we were out enjoying ourselves. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed in a campsite and an adjacent cabin with our extended family. All facilities were well maintained and clean. Everything in working order.
