This place is horrible. The bathrooms don芒鈧劉t have locks so anyone can go into them while people are showering. Which has happened. The laundry machines never work and always out of order and are dirty. The lights in the park do not work half the time so it芒鈧劉s very dark. The MWR staff and managers are horrible except for Mellissa, she is very nice. They are never there and never answer phones or call you back. The camp host never helps people when they arrive past the office hours, which are only 1000-1400. They lie about this place and sea mist have to follow the same rules and they don芒鈧劉t. They make you move every 30s days hoping people will leave. They have civil service who are not retired military taking up spots for active duty or military retires. They don芒鈧劉t take care of the areas so your RV will get messed up when driving around because the tree limbs are so low. Half the trees are dead but they won芒鈧劉t cut them down so there is a possibility that a tree will fall. Many people don芒鈧劉t walk their dogs on a leash around the park. Do not stay here find a better military Rv park. Little creek and FT Story are cleaner and better. Do not stay here. Not worth it. You can find better somewhere else.

Awesome location. Awesome off base access with private gate and access code. The truth: This location is the movie 芒鈧揕ord of the Flies芒鈧 come to life. All rules are strictly enforced, unless you have kids that are friends with the MWR employee that lives there. Had a child walk into out camper and ask for apple juice. Had teenagers climb on our roof. Children in diapers are routinely unsupervised and the older children get destructive. If you complain to the 芒鈧搕attooed芒鈧 MWR employee, you WILL BE BLACK LISTED!!! You cannot report damages done here to your insurance company, somehow they know because of the claims that are rolling in. In short: Be prepared to loose a window to a rock or baseball while you are here.

Ok park physically.. Large sites because it used to be a mobile home park. Sewer hookups are in the middle of the site, which made it more difficult. It was also difficult to park because we had to essentially parallel park to get into the site. The biggest problem was the camp host. She was unfriendly, unhelpful, at times rude. We won芒鈧劉t stay again because she was so unpleasant.

We stayed late June to late September 2018. Nice place, nothing fancy but super convenient for us. No issues with utilities or staff. Left for a hurricane scare, refunded fees. Manager lives on site.

Made a reservation for June back in March. My son was graduating from a Navy school so we planned to meet him on our way back from Maine to Florida. We drove for two days to get to the campground. When we arrived at 3 pm we were told that our reservation had been cancelled sometime in May. As you can imagine we were not too happy. Our tanks were full, we were exhausted and now we are being offered an overflow site with no hookup where we would have to run our generator. The park was small and the maneuvering was tight with our 32 foot motor home. It seemed as thought there were more permanent residents than vacationers here. No bath house and no too much to do other than the bar just outside the park. We called around and found a Koa on the beach that had spaces available so we relocated for about $11 more per night and with our Military discount We saved $10 so as I remember it omly was $1.00 more for a full service campground showers pools and lots of amenities.

Sites very hard for big rigs to get in and out of. No bath house that I could find. Sites were spacious enough. Very close to the main road. Little noisy, but bearable. This place used to be a mobile home park but the military bought it and cleaned it up. Had a hard time checking in because neither hosts were present. Neither was my paperwork that i was told would be left for me. To top it off check out time was 11:00 AM and check in was at noon, but at 10:30 I was asked/told there were people waiting to get in and did I know that check out was at 11? I felt rushed and insulted. Do not see us returning there.

Only did a drive by since they were full we had to stay in KOA, but we were impressed with what we saw. We talked to the staff and they were friendly. Checked out the laundry since we were needing one and it was inexpensive and some of the nicest machines that we have seen in over a year of travel. They did have some longer term residence, but they were very well maintained. I have a feeling they were probably individuals that were TDY for a short time. Overall looked great. The Sea Mist RV sites is also close by and we have checked it out and it was very nice. We plan to move to either this Camp or Sea Mist Camp Site tonight. Recommend them both.

This park is an older converted residential trailer park. Spots are level, and there is ample parking. The potable water system is old and filled with rust. The sewer connection is located under your trailer, which can be inconvenient to hook up. The location of this park is it's worst problem. The proximity to a busy road and bar that adds up to a lot of noise. Of course there is also the expected jet noise. This park is maintained full. There are numerous long term full timers with all the expected stuff around their trailers. There are many large dogs, and unfortunately owners who fail to use a leash. As of 1 October 2017, they are raising their rates to $25 a day with no weekly or monthly rates. This may improve some issues with full timers. Bottom line, this is not a park to go camping in.

A definite four star leaning toward five. This is an old park but well-maintained and the staff is great. Unusual sewer system as the sewer connection is directly underneath the RV. This used to be an old motorhome park. We found no problems, not expensive. Staff cuts firewood and offers it to visitors for free. Commissary and base exchange are within a very short distance. The only downside I see here is that it's lacking a lot of shade. Some spots have a good shade but many are out in the open. Recommended.
