Fun place to stay with lots of things to do friendly environment. You do have to learn how to deal with the Jets but they are pretty cool. I would definitely recommend this for all ages. After hour pool parties with music and more!

Nice place. If you can't get a site anywhere else this is the place that has you covered. Need some work in the sites. Use over time has low spots and track in the site that cause upleveling and water collection. Most of these sites could be made prestige with a little crush and run and leveling. No one likes the noisy jets. But then they don't like their freedom either. We tend to stay here every time we come to Virginia Beach. Close to the beach and the board walk that we use every day. A lot of people don't know there is a trolly that goes to the beach and that there is a free parking spot at the beach under the campground's name. We will be staying in the high rent area for the first time this spring. Hope to see you there.

Muddy sites, confusing to navigate through the many many little lanes and hundreds of sites. The assigned site didn’t even look like a site, but they let us choose another one. Nice restrooms and good internet. The airplane noise is ASTOUNDINGLY loud!! It will freak out children and pets!

Large well appointed RV park, most sites are partly grassed and/or partly shaded. Plenty to do and lots of amenities. Close to the beach. We were scheduled to stay for five days but could not. The park is real close to the Oceania Naval Air Station and on the flight path of the military jets. The jets are up and down training all the time and they are noisy ! If you work remotely and need to be on the phone or conference calls for business, forget it, these jets will be a distraction every time they come over, not their fault. This is the reason we were unable to stay. It was unfortunate, cannot blame the RV park or the pilots, they have a job to do. The staff and management was very professional, understanding and refunded us.

The rating is our personal experience. We only stayed two nights on site 19 in our 30 ft fifth wheel. It rained and we had mud under our front landing gear. I had to wear my hiking boots to pack up. Just be sure to check your site for gravel under the rv space before you setup.

Large campground, large pools (4), lots of friendly people, in the evening lots of golf carts driving around with music going and cocktails/beers in hand. We felt safe and comfortable with our 3 younger kids riding around on their bikes (‘roads’ are paved). Easy bike ride for our family to Croatan beach. Going on an evening walk around the campground was enjoyable and entertaining.

Very nice, crowded on the weekend but peaceful during the week! Friendly and helpful staff. Our site was on the perimeter backed up to woods plenty of room! Would certainly come back! The dedicated beach parking was super nice and convenient!

Overall this is a nice campground. There several pools and the camp sites are level and not on top of your neighbours. The campground has a dedicated parking area very close to the beach about 2 miles north. The staff is also very accommodating. I would definitely come back!!

Tight spots! There were a lot of people who seemed to be locals enjoying quiet outdoor parties, not bothersome. Won’t be coming back.

Early May of ‘19. Off season so there was lots of vacancies. Stayed here in 40’ 5th wheel, site 245. Main pool was open and had a great swim. Laundry and bathhouse’s were great Mini golf, pool, play grounds oh my. Great location, no complaints. Would stay there again.
