Good overnight spot, good pricing. All hookups worked. Very nice staff. Didn’t have time to tour caverns but is probably interesting. Traveling in a 34 MH with toad. Would stop here again.

Shabby is a generous comment. Full-timer, have stayed here many times due to lack of other choices. Very small, tight spaces. Mostly permanent residents, many run-down units. Minimal sunshine, only midday, muddy when rains, trees drip forever. Earplugs needed, very noisy from I-81.

Stayed 4 nights to visit family in Roanoke. My equipment: 31’ Class C towing 2DR Jeep. The Good: reasonable rate; close to Roanoke; right off Interstate 81; easy access from highway; easy campground enter/exit; Wi-Fi/cable/full hook ups; easy after hours check-in; friendly staff. The Bad: gravel roads not well maintained; narrow sites; right off interstate 81 (highway noise); some permanent residents have very rundown equipment. Summary: did not use restroom/bath house; secure feeling environment; would stay again due to proximity to Roanoke and ease of access to campground.

Great staff, friendly well organized. The park is a tad shabby, with narrow spaces but a nice setting with beautiful trees and a near by stream. Good place for an overnight stay with tour of Dixie Caverns to take. Price was very reasonable. Great WiFi, cable and amenities. Nearby gas station with decent prices for gas and diesel. I would stay here again

Stayed here 1 night Nov.2020, ok spot, pretty close, no bathrooms available (understandable!) not totally level, but ok for one night...friendly staff!

All of our hookups worked great. Felt safe at all times. We left our grill and bikes and other stuff out with no problem. Staff SUPER friendly. Very quiet. Some road noise but it did not bother us. Everyone was very respectful to everyone else. VERY small sites. This is a place to park your camper and go explore the great outdoors and all the area has to offer. The sites are so small there isn’t much room to do much more than sit at the picnic table. A little too close for our comfort for a fire. We felt the campground was well maintained. There are some older units...but didn’t really focus on them. Would definitely stay here again. Bring your own activities for the kids. Bathrooms were closed. Conveniently located. Trash picked up regularly.

Nice little campground, gravel and grass back in the forest. Neat cavern and gift shop. Pay attention though. The hook ups are on the back of the pad, so make sure everything reaches before you level up. But quiet spot. Didn’t use showers, stayed in 45’ MH.

Small, easy to get to, nice pull through spots for large rigs. Clean and maintained. Near the highway, so if highway noise bothers you, it might be a problem. Close enough to town to not be inconvenient. Great overnight place, decent if you need to stay in the area for a while. The cavern tour is interesting. 50/30 amp, good water pressure. Level spots.

OK for an overnight, not a destination, right next to highway so constant traffic noise.
