I visited on the off season for a week and I have a 24 foot class B. Overall I enjoyed my visit.
- Only electric which is fine cuz the dump and water was never busy. I have a water filter and softer I hook up plus 10 minutes of filling the water plus 10 min to dump and no one ever got in line behind me.
- The bathrooms and showers are clean. But the walls don芒鈧劉t go all the way to the top so night showering is a bit scary. To be clear the walls are tall enough for privacy but the rafters are scary.
- It can be noisy with the skate park right there but the campground was pretty empty so I wasn芒鈧劉t bothered. And everyone respected quiet hours.
- Not a lot of light pollution. The electric posts and restroom house has lights. The skatepark has lights that shut off at 10pm I think.
- Some of the spots are uneven or just unusable. Spot 2 is a massive slant so avoid that one if you can.
- The skate park is small but fun and there is a small area with dunes for mountain bikes. Nothing crazy but enough for a beginner like me. There are a couple soccer and baseball fields. Although they do have some strict signs telling unauthorized people to keep off. And the hiking trails are alright. It is a park in the middle of a small city after all.
- $37 weekday and $41 weekend which Friday counts is a bit sleep for what you are getting but it would only bother me if I was on a tight budget.
- Staff, Tod, was very friendly.

In May, 2021, we just dumped ($25) here; didn't stay. Only about half the sites taken. Weekday camping, $30 for dry, $37 for 15/30, $45 for 30/50; on Fri - Sun $5 more. In a large regional park with park office. Quiet, forested, with electricity; water available. Camp host.

Made a reservation 2 months ago and charged my card for the first night. I confirmed our reservation last week by phone. We arrived last night and a 芒鈧搑egular芒鈧 was in my spot. My reservation has vanished. Good luck.

Close together unlevel sites. Very noisy, relatively expensive. Showers were outdated. I would not stay again. We went to Greenbelt NP instead, much more convenient and cheaper.
I guess if you absolutely need hookups this May be an option.

$37 for just electric. Very small unlevel spot. Noisy surroundings. Okay for one night, but will not visit again.

Awesome basecamp for visiting DC. It has electric only sites which is the reason for 4 stars. Shower house is in good shape and clean. Has a dump station with fresh water available. It's a 15 min drive to the Metro station to get into the city. A bonus that we didn't use is the waterpark. It's pretty reasonable, I inquired when we checked in, $15 for over 4' tall for a day pass. Under 4' tall was a couple bucks less. Next time we visit DC we will definitely stay here.
