Most of the sites here are reserve. Only part of the A sites are first come first serve but Sun-Thurs. there were still some of these sites available. The five first come first serve sites I tried were level so I assume most of them are, and most are little pull through loops off the main road. Sites are nicely wooded, but not real brushy so you can see your neighbor. Nice and quiet. $5 10 minute showers at the Camp store which are modern and clean & laundry facilities, too.

Nice campground. Not full at all when we were there in mid-May. Sites are not very level. No hook-ups. We did not use the dump station. Has showers that you pay for but are quite nice. Has a store at the campground. It was very quiet. Limited cell coverage.

Loft Mountain is located in Shenandoah NP along the Skyline Drive, the spaces are adequate size but some are not level, only handicap spots have electric.. Bathhouses are extremely clean and modern. Nice hiking in the area, good sunset views, some ranger programs on the weekends. Not as crowded as some of the campgrounds in Shenandoah but they do fill up on holiday weekends.
