This campground absolutely refuses to answer their phone or return messages under any circumstances. I've been trying to call this campground for several weeks, and no matter the day or time, nor amount of messages left, can I speak to anyone. Seems I'm just going to have to show up so I can complain in person when they inevitably tell me they have no spots available.

The park HAS 50 Amp hookups. The description is dated. This is a nice little park for our needs. The sites are a little close together by US Park Service standards, but better spaced than many private parks. Our 37foot (actual length) class A fit, but just barely. I had to angle the rv across the site pad to get all four corners in. I also had to put the rear tires on leveling blocks (one block for each tire). We are next to the pool. I know from past visits to the park’s other campground there are nice hiking trails in the park. Just not from the RV part of the park. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful campground, unreliable WiFi, low water pressure. In the woods such that you’d never know you’re a short distance from suburbia and I-95. Nice and quiet. Check-in was a breeze.

BAD-Small campsites, 30ft trailer barley fit in the site. Little pricey for being out of season. No cable, 2mbps download, poor WiFi.
NOTE: If your coming from the east, there is a turn lane. GPS tells you to make a U turn. Would have been great when we came up. AT&T, LTE works fast
GOOD- Quite, clean bathrooms & laundry. Brand new playground and dog park. 30 minute drive to take you to the Metro to get you to D.C.

Disappointing overall. Basically a big parking lot for RVs with no charm. We used to frequent PWFP when we were locals so were unhappy to find out that this is really not part of the park and is even a different exit off the highway. Not close to anything, but that is just the D.C. area. The pool looked nice. The staff person that checked us in was grouchy and unwelcoming but that is just luck of the draw,

Stayed one night and used their night registration.
Reasonable price. Clean bathrooms. Easy drive off 95.

Good for a night. Pets allowed. We thought it was way over-priced, but that may have to do with being 30 miles from Washington. The website link makes it seem like a National Park campground, but our billing invoice reads KOA. Did not see/hear any security at night.

I like this park. Close to DC. Nice hiking trails. Limited amenities for children, but great staff. Spots were part gravel and paved and we had some leveling challenges. We camped with a 38 foot Class A. We will go back.
