Found this campsite last minute while traveling through in early April. Camp Ground is very nice, Quiet with beautiful Riverview. Owners were very accommodating. Did a great job recovering from the major area floods in February. Don’t let the road discourage you. It leads to a very nice place. GPS says arrived a little early. Just keep going straight. You’ll find it.

Very nice campground. New owners were very nice and helpful have only had it a year and are making upgrades. Was very clean and quiet. Right on Clinch River has a place to put in small boat or kayaks. Plenty of hiking, Devils Bathtub is about 45 minutes away. Would definitely stay again. There is WiFi close to office but once you get about 5 or 6 sites away there is none and no cell phone service. Get necessary things before going closest stores are in Kingsport. There was a small store preparing to open about 6 miles away but was not open when we were there. Sites are rather close to each other but there so on weekends it’s kinda tight, but during the week it was great with only 2 or 3 other rigs there. We stayed 7days.

After turning off the main highway we were a tad bit nervous about what we were getting ourselves into. However, the campground is very nice. The bathhouse is very clean. The owner is extremely nice. The only downside is that everything is quite a drive away. We found plenty to do in the area even though it rained almost our entire stay. Give this campground a try.
