Very easy after-hours check-in. Reasonably priced with very nice facility. Sites were well marked. We only stayed one night on our way south. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We stayed two nights in mid Jan 2020. What a difference compared to the KOA we stayed for two nights near Fredericksburg! Site was level and long enough to accommodate our 19芒鈧劉 trailer and Suburban. Complimentary waffles, coffee and orange juice the two mornings we were there. (Very tasty, and the 芒鈧搘affle chick芒鈧 as she called herself, was delightful). Bathhouse was immaculately clean. There is also a dog park, but it was under construction and muddy while we were there, so we didn芒鈧劉t use. Management was very responsive to a concern we had about an aggressive dog on our row, as well as to a request we had. We didn芒鈧劉t have Good Sam at the time, but they honored a AAA discount. There were a fair number of folks who seemed to live there full-time and all areas were nice and tidy. Only detraction was a bit of road noise when we were outside. Would highly recommend.

Very nice campground! We芒鈧劉ve been traveling for 7 weeks and these are the nicest bathrooms we芒鈧劉ve found! The management and staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The sites are large and level with lovely trees. We stayed in November, so we kept the windows closed and didn芒鈧劉t hear the traffic. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

I'll admit, I'm pretty free with my ratings, but anyplace that exceeds expectations is a 5 in my book. While it is a bit pricey, there just aren't that many RV campgrounds near Richmond and they seem to plow a significant amount back into the campground. The breakfast is a nice touch, the staff is friendly, and the grounds are constantly being improved. The free WiFi rates in the "really good" category since it's free and you can still use it after 5pm when everyone starts streaming (download your shows overnight or in early morning for best results). Lots of local air TV and halfway decent cable. The laundry facilities are smallish, but good and the nice dog park has been completely rebuilt. And now there's a pool going in!
Whenever we want to stay in the Richmond area, this is where we go.

We stayed here 4 nights and enjoyed it! Continental breakfast or freshly-made-for-you waffles each morning and a weekly supper, full hookups, lots of big trees for shade, and truly friendly staff!

Spent 3 nights here on the way south in our 39 foot Class A. Nice level sites, pet friendly and great staff. Only complaint would be highway noise. Would stay again

Nice park but the acorns rained down and when the wind blew really hard a large branch came down on my car, could have killed me.

We stayed one night. The campground is absolutely beautiful! The staff was great. Conveniently located close to 95. The drawback is it芒鈧劉s close to 95 also. It was a little noisy even with the ac running. I would absolutely stay again but ask for a spot in the back of the campground.

This is a very nice place as reported by previous reviews. Lots of kid things to do. The new pool is now finished. A large staff to see things run smoothly. My big complaint, hence the four stars, is the road noise. The front part of the park is about 500 ft from I 95. You can really hear the trucks using their Jake Brakes or engine braking. And the noise is constant, maybe a little less after midnight. If I had to stay here again, I would try to get near the back.
