This place really is an outpost! Nestled beside a beautiful red rock formation, it provides a unique camping experience. No hookups, no campground wi-fi. The restroom facility is basic and not very clean...but hot showers are available at a price. Some supplies and WiFi access are available at the owners store not far from the campground. Canyonlands (Needles District) National Park is just minutes away. So if you want a primitive camping experience with red sand, desert wildflowers, wonderful night stars, and nearby access to the park’s great hiking trails, this is your place.

First let me say that this is one of the best campgrounds that I stayed at. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the very end of campground and it was so peaceful and a gorgeous view. My 10 and 13 year old loved climbing all over the rocks right behind our TT. If you have young children I recommend this campground. There is no hookups but the price was right also.
