This place is beautiful. The mosquitos however are horrendous. Upon check in they warned us about the mosquitos from the river flooding. Either way when you exit or enter your camper be prepared for no less than 15 mosquitos. Everyone we spoke to at the resort had the same problem. Supposedly they had sprayed the day before, it didn鈥檛 help. Swimming in the pool involves swatting your head, and running back to your site. I must note that nowhere on our 8 miles of hikes, and nowhere in town, we鈥檙e there any mosquitos. So if you book here, bring all the mosquito spray. For the future I hope they warn their guests before arrival and give the option to find other lodging.

Not a good start: we arrived early, we芒鈧劉re told we had to wait, 芒鈧 site had to be 芒鈧搑eadied芒鈧 & the site we had reserved & paid in full for was MOT the site they were putting us on! Reservations were made in Mar for a mid July (3 night!) arrival; site was described & agreed to after lengthy conversation. Upon arrival was first told that 芒鈧搘asn芒鈧劉t original site reserved芒鈧 ( not true, I took notes at time of reservation) . Drove toad around park noted where we were being put was next to pool in full sun, no shade & nothing like what had been described; original reserved site had coach on it! End result office offered other sites, we choose one that offered a little shade from a tree & were given a 10% discount芒鈧 nice but this wasn芒鈧劉t a &100/ night spot! Cable did NOT work, was told by maintenance they were aware that the 芒鈧搇ines were old & not working芒鈧, single wooden picnic table was cracked, peeling & covered with cobwebs, pool needed to be cleaned: didn芒鈧劉t use any other facilities. Reserved 芒鈧 owner芒鈧劉s side芒鈧 as was recommended by friends, ( were wider, (little more privacy) than 芒鈧搊ther side芒鈧. Would stay again but beware

Stayed here for five nights in a full hookup site. This is a very nice and well cared for campground with a great pool/hot tub area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will stay here again.

Very poor start. Arrived at 12:20pm (check in at 1:00pm) and they want to charge for 芒鈧揺arly芒鈧 arrival even though space is ready. More so I just wanted restless kids to play at park and they wouldn芒鈧劉t allow without a charge.

If you want peace, quiet and tranquility...this is not the place to stay! The resort is overrun with loud and noisy ATVs which routinely exceed the 5mph speed limit all hours of the day and night. To top it off, construction is also taking place Monday through Friday with the continuous noise of bulldozers and gravel trucks. The construction noise began at 7:30 AM on Monday morning....ridiculous for the high price you p

How this shows 5 stars baffles me. It芒鈧劉s ok but not built for camping. Good first. It芒鈧劉s clean. Convenient. Feels safe.
Cons 1. Pennies shy of $60/night. Packed in like sardines, no sewer hook up. Cheap table which was melted and wobbly. Two pages of rules. Fancy finishes but no thought. Granite folding counter in laundry and huge flatscreen tv. But no laundry sink.
Beautiful pebble floors in-the showers, but nowhere to place your glasses and no toilet without going outside and into another area. The list goes on and on. Dump station was difficult and the fresh water was there, but didn芒鈧劉t function. No way to rinse Ewwwwwww!. Oh well, ya win some, ya lose some.
May be the nicest in Moab, but for the price it has some real issues.

Good location. Well maintained. Nice staff. But loose gravel sites are a problem; pebbles always get in your shoes. Sewer access is inches from the water hook up. The neighbor's sewer access is much too close to our picnic table. That芒鈧劉s just bad design/planning.

This is the nicest campground in Moab. For the most part, quiet, well-maintained, and friendly clientele and management. The dog pond is an awesome touch, and our dog enjoyed many evening swims. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the whole place felt very secure. The campground is set back from the road far enough that you get little to no traffic noise. Highly recommend!

Stayed in a standard 30amp site as it was all they had available. The receptacle could use updating. Sites were a good size, the park is clean. The north/south divide is just odd. The closed in dog parks are nice. The swimming hole and dog pond looked unappealing I wouldn't let my dog in unless I could bathe it after. The surrounding grounds need work. It looks like they are doing some good upgrades with a pool etc. it's probably the nicest park in Moab based on what we saw of others while there.
