Another nice corp park. New blacktop roads and big sites. The 3 pull throughs in the back of park are really close together. The rest are spaced nice. We stayed in 44 ft fifth wheel and hdt.

Site 17, in truck camper and kayaks for 1 week starting November 29, 2021 for 1 week. Blacktop in all sites, 17 sloped toward water but level enough and long enough for camper, truck, and boats. Site on water but had fringe of timber so no real view. Trail to water and could put in boat with some difficulty with mud and trees. Lake shallow with stumps not busy this time of year and good kayaking. Some noise from camp road and highway 190. Neighbors not close woods infront and back of site. Host friendly offered to bring wood. Did not use facility but host said cleaned frequently. Nearest Planet Fitness Luftkin one hour drive. Jasper 10 miles. Good verizon reception and Dish reception. Although I was happy with 17, other sites had better lake views. I would try to get 24 or 25 if I got here again.

We stayed 9 nights at Sandy Creek in ovember 2020. Other than a young family singing karaoke songs loud and late into the night, our stay was blissful. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Especially Elvin. Plenty of open grassy places to stretch out. Large playground for kids. Enormous lake. Great backroads for biking. Jasper is close by and has most of what you'll need. Heads up: don't cross the lake looking for a cold beer. Dry county.

This out of the way Army Corp park is fantastic. The sites are spaced out, with many of them right on the lake with great views. Just a short drive from Martin Dies Jr. State Park, this is a much less crowded park than the State Park. The hosts were great, and the only draw back was the older bathhouses. They need a little updating, but that nothing compared to the peaceful atmosphere of this park. The pads are paved, extra long, and the picnic tables have cover. There is a nice isolation feeling here. A true get-away. We want to come back here on a regular basis.

Arrived first part of Feb. 2019. Park hosts were very friendly and helpful. The asked if we were interested in a quiet campsite, and then recommended the 芒鈧揙ld Folks芒鈧 loop. We drove around the whole campground and decided we liked their recommendation and stayed at Site D17. Right on the water and saw lake out windows on both sides of the camper. We were able to get good OTA TV, and good cell service. Only thing we heard at night was frogs! Stayed for a week and would come back.

Beautiful park with large sites. 5 inches of rain one night did flood many of the sites but the pads and roads were high and dry. If they would update/ cleanup the restrooms this would be 5 stars.

Very nice well-kept campsite with asphalt pad and covered picnic table. Fire pit supplied with a grill for open pit-fire grilling. Some 30amp & 50amp sites with lovely lake views. Very gracious hosts ~ A beautiful park ~ we would definitely return!

Beautiful lake and great views.
However, much of the Park seemed flooded. May have been the season (April 2018).
The only real negative is the restrooms / showers.
The stainless steel toilets were less clean than a roadside gas station. Aside from stained floor - the smell was terrible. I don't think they were cleaned in some time. A little bleach and daily maintenance would have helped.
I hope they consider upgrading and repairing the restroom facilities.

Note to campers: please leash your dogs.

Great, large campsites with concrete pads and covered picnic tables. Many on edge of lake with great views. Bathrooms old and in need of repairs. Shower water pressure so strong it almost hurts. Very unusual! Winter time rains made islands of some sites. All in all a beautiful park
