Location great. Park not. Sand burrs so bad the dogs can’t walk on grass. Not staying again

Good location, but very run down. Electrical boxes are broken, a plastic part was covering the sewer line and there were red ants all over the filthy campsite. They did come spray for the Ants and I picked up a bag of trash. Would not recommend. The KOA is next door and will stay there next time.

This park is all about location to beach. You will have salt spray on your coach. Plenty of locals riding around park to wash for 50-70$. Full wash/wax 140-175. Sites are small .no shade and most on sand. If lucky their maybe a concrete pad, but regulars have those reserved. For the most part you are parked at the beach in sand and sand spurs with FHU. Monthly price was fair. Follow directions and allow time to check in. Biking would be local and on surface roads I did not see trails. Lots of board walk for beach walking. It’s all about location the park needs work. Many people with pets complained about sand spurs. Bring your mats!!!!

Nearly two hour wait to check in. Campsites are just average. Clearly lagging in service and facilities. Quite disappointed and won’t be returning.

Isla Blanca is great BUT- you have to be there by 5:30pm or you can’t get into the park with (or without) your RV until the next day at 8am. Watch your reservation dates on their calendar. It’s not set up the same as a hotel and the last day you highlight is your last NIGHT, not when you check out. We thought we booked for 3 nights. We got there at 7pm and had to set up OUTSIDE THE PARK for our first night then found out at check in that I actually reserved for 4 nights. They said it happens all the time because their system is similar to hotel systems but not the same. You would think they would warn people or change the system instead of cheating people out of an extra $50. When discussing all of these issues at check in they were completely unapologetic and offered the email address for a manager. UGH!!!! Once inside the park I was very happy with the people and property. I would stay there again but now know how to not pay for twice as many nights as I actually get to stay 🙄

Potholes, dust and grass burrs galore. We had to be very careful when walking the dogs. Park is very dated and crammed together. The beach and boardwalk areas are very nice. You have to pay to use the Wifi which we didn’t. AT&T phone service was pretty good but I wonder how well it holds up when the park and area are full. If you stay a week or more the cost of electricity has to be paid before you check out. Be prepared to wait on the check in/ check out staff as ‘service’ is not a word they are familiar with. They are in no hurry. This is a wonderful location for a very successful RV Park but the County gets away with success only by being the only ones on the beach. Stay here for the beach, weather (in winter), fishing or because you like the wind.

Yes, the campground is basically a parking lot and dated. However there is 50 amp full hook ups and the beach and newly renovated boardwalk is absolutely beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

We spent a month in January/February. Most days were gorgeous, warm & sunny! Occasionally the messy fog would roll in and hang around for 2 or 3 days. We loved the beach, the town, and especially the great/fun restaurants every where. Lots of shrimp everywhere! By next year the construction/remodeling should be completed! Be shire and go on the Original Dolphin Tour!!!

What a dump! Under construction no beach access? The gate charge 10 dollars to check out the run down r v park, roads were full of pot holes, real dusty, the wind blow constantly 20+!!They pack rv’s in like sardines. The tables and electrical power boxes look 25 years old, maybe unsafe? I’m glad we pay 10 bucks before booking on line. The front desk should be retrained in customer service.

Apparently there are separate areas for seasonal camping and short-term camping. The short term was by the marina with its rentals and cruises and restaurants (loud on Saturday night!). You are given a pass for the park tho. I wish I could post a picture of the showers here - really awful!
