An amazing place to camp or vacation. Hiking, biking, swimming, etc etc. The sites Are clean and kept up. The trails are clean and kept up. The hosts are very courteous and very helpful. Plenty of full hookup sites and tent sites too. The lake is amazing. Will definitely stay again.

we stayed here over what we thought would be a very busy 4th of July weekend to find at least a dozen open full hookup sites available. We arrived at 8pm on the 3rd to find the park office closed but no big deal our site was easy to find and clean and we figured we would just check in in the morning. Wrong, went to park office the next morning to find no one there all day, we chalked it up to maybe because it’s a federal holiday all the employees are off for the day. Park is very clean and well maintained. Sites are roomy and very well spaced out. We’ve been amazed at how quite it’s been here we will be back again.

Nice paved spot. Picnic table, fire pit, electric, water and sewer. Shady spot was nice for this hot and humid day in Texas. $32 per night.

Stayed here with a large group utilizing a double RV site that easily accommodated our group of 11 people - 1 RV and three tents! The sites are well maintained, some are not as level as others but reasonable given the beauty of the surrounding forest. I would definitely go back - as the sites are spaced out and you truly feel as though you are getting back to nature. Park hosts were great also!!
