Stayed here a year ago as I stopped off on the way to see him. Got in late and the mosquitoes were horrible. The campsite was nice a little cozy and we have a small camper could be difficult for some bigger Arby’s. Bathrooms were nice and clean and would rather return when it’s not mosquito season

Nice cozy park. Ok Verizon signal. Website make the sites feel like tent sites but they all have long spaces to back in. Lots of room and privacy between. Plus tent spots, fire pit and tables. Recycling! Bathrooms were clean and as that last person said well designed with lots of benches.

Small but nice campground. Great restrooms and showers! Regular faucets instead of push buttons and two hooks plus bench in showers! Sites are close together but plenty of shade trees to give privacy. Tent pads at each site. They We stayed one night in February 2023. Verizon cell phone service worked but only 1-2 bars. Did not have time to explore rest of park.

Nice state park, friendly staff, nice space for each site, e/w hookups, lovely, clean, heated bathrooms. About 15 minutes from town with trails, canoe and kayak rentals, nice in warm weather. Nice trees and grassy areas. 15 minutes from Beaumont with lots to do. Stayed 2/25/22 in 18' campervan

Shady site, a little tight for 30’ C. Very clean facilities and nice staff.

Very nice park. Sites are level. Restrooms very clean. Staff very welcoming

Only part of park that is open is camping. Small camping are nice, most sites look level. No access to any other part of park due to hurricane Harvey.

January 2017 - Small state park, very close to town for convenience. Close campsites in natural setting. Very clean restrooms. Would stay here again or recommend.

Nice location to town. Sites are crowded with good shade. Mostly good staff.
