We were very impressed with Carthage RV campground. We called to make a reservation at the very last minute, on New Year's Eve, because we had some unforeseen delays in our travel. We arrived after dark, and the person was working was ready for us. He was very polite making sure we knew about all the amenities at the park. He drove us to our spot. It's very clear that this is a very nice park, and if we have the opportunity, we will stop here again.

We stayed one night on our way out of Texas. Very nice people. Clean. I especially enjoyed a shower in their very clean shower room. The pool needed a little work as it was quite cloudy but seemed clean. I would stay here again.

Well kept RV park with large, level concrete sites. Plus, there is plenty of room between sites…..such a nice change! 30/50 Amp full hook-up sites. The water connection is close to the ground and I would prefer it to be a little higher to allow easier connection of pressure valve and filter. We would stay here again.

Nice RV park. Level concrete driveways and RV sites, picnic table, nice small pool, 30 and 50 amp electric, water and sewer, well-maintained, grass between sites, quiet, very low road noise, friendly staff, and shade trees. Will definitely stay here next time through!

This park is a jewel. Large sites, level concrete pads surrounded by grass. Several trees that are in bloom at this time. I would be happy staying here for a length of time but we are just overbite. Also this is our second time to overnight here.

Nice Rv park. Level concrete pads. Free Wifi for one night stay. Also has cable tv. Easy on/off Highway 59. Some permanent campers but very well kept. We were in back away from highway noise. Did not use bathrooms, showers, or laundry. $42/night with veterans discount. Will stay again. We are in a 36 foot fifth wheel. This park will accommodate big rigs.

A well maintained park with long pull through sites. However, the water/power is located at the rear of the sites so would not be convenient if you’re towing and don’t want to disconnect. We were coming East on 79 and my GPS indicated the park was on the opposite side of the divided highway. We’ll use it again when in the area.

Stayed at this park for several days when our truck broke down. Very nice park. Clean, modern and is an easy in and out. The people who work here and the owner were very nice and helpful. There is a little bit of highway noise, but not bad. We will make Carthage RV park our regular stop from now on.

This Is the best choice for overnight or short term parking for bigger RVs. Lots of full hookups and pull through sites. Wi fi works well and the laundry and bath house is spotless. Staff is friendly and the price is OK.
It is just a bit noisy at times because of the road and some surrounding industrial areas.
We have tried them all within 30 miles and this is our go to spot when in Carthage.
