Nice lake area. Trees need trimming as my 12.5 was hitting trees. Big pull thru fairly level. Attending were very helpful. Great 1-2 night star.

July 12,2022 stay- it was a one nite stop for us. I’d love to go back and get a lake spot. We had a level, spacious pull- thru. The picnic area was paved with a large patio. Senior discount made it extra awesome. Gate employee was very personable and helpful.

There are beautiful Lakeside campsites here with water and electric. Nice breeze off the lake. It’s lovely! Lots of the drive Throughs are plenty large enough for a big rigs.

First time at this campground. Very nice. Didn’t check the bathrooms because of Covid 19 but the campground was great. This is like double site heaven. Double sites on the lake around 22 are super. Single site try 28, 32, 59 or 60. You really can’t go wrong. Hosts were very nice. Try Stones River Kayaking while you’re there. We were in site 28. Slightly sloped but the lake access and table made for a great visit.

Jones Mill road has a lot of low hanging branches. I had to drive in the center of the road to avoid most of them, but could not avoid them all. One large branch struck my windshield and side of windshield frame and damaged my motorhome. Once in the campground the host were very helpful clearing up a reservation mix up. There are also roads in the campground with low hanging branches that need trimming. I will call COE field office and report these issues.

Campground is nice with a lot of space in between spots but older couple at gatehouse were rude and very unfriendly to us as walk ups. They need to move out and stop sharing their bad attitudes with happy campers!

Nice, wooded and inexpensive campground. Walmart and and gas and diesel station nearby. Don't bring a tall RV into this park if you don't want the paint scratched up. Low hanging branches everywhere that are unavoidable.

Wooded campground with many lakeside pull through sites. Roads are paved and in good condition. Campground is well-maintained and clean.
